Reinforces the turning aid and helps with straightness and direction. The full cheeks are excellent for directional control; straightness and turning, hence beneficial for show jumping etc as the mouthpiece will not slide across the mouth when turning. It is also good for young ponies as the mouthpiece will not pull through in a panic situation. Highly recommended for children who do not always support their inside rein. The upper cheeks may be fixed to the cheek pieces with Fulmer loops to exert gentle poll pressure (head lowering). We would not recommend fixing with young ponies as we would loose the play factor which is desirable for mouthing purposes. These Bits are a special order please allow 7- 21 days for delivery,And please make sure you have the right bit and size as these bits are non returnable
